Dark shades of heroes is an original acrylic painting piece inspired by just simply being a black man or a black person in general living in this world. I think it’s heroic to wake up with the odds stacked against you from birth and gracefully exist living a life that may not be all the way righteous or fair and yet, somehow, you manage to make the most of it and enjoy it. It’s hard out here. I love the skin I’m in and even after my time comes, if I’m ever asked what I would change about my life, I’d simply say “Nothing. I’d do it again”.<br>Painting about 52 inches tall. Unframed.
