VTG 60’s 70’s Pat Sandler 8 10 Dress Black Sweater Santana Knit Midi Stretch

This vintage black midi dress was designed by luxury US designer Pat Sandler for Wellmore for size 10. He was described as a couture designer. I thought for sure this was a cocktail dress with shoulder pads was from the 1980’s! But apparently Mr. Sandler was a designer from the 1960’s to the 1970’s and this is an After 5 dress. I'm thinking bouffant hairdo, long cigarette holder, mod, swinging, Frug dancing, ridiculously cool and sophisticated cocktail parties. <br>The form fitting dress is in excellent condition. The fabric is very similar to Santana Knit. A well made sweater type material with a lot of stretch that doesn’t wrinkle, which can also be called a travel knit. (I guess he beat Marie Gray to the punch!) <br>The content tag has been removed.
